As we reflect on 2024 – the thousands of connections made, the deepening of relationships while fostering new ones by introducing mama Hōkūleʻa to keiki, kūpuna and all in between, participating in deeply meaningful events, getting to know and explore our beautiful island home even more, sailing and training – what we feel most is gratitude. Boundless gratitude for all who welcomed Hōkūleʻa, touched her, shared their mana with her, and helped us to further our mission of perpetuating our voyaging and navigation traditions, raising the voices of Pacific and all indigenous peoples, and caring for our island earth and its ocean – Hōkūleʻa’s home, our home.  We are excited for 2025 and hope you will join us in celebrating Hōkūleʻa’s 50 years!
