Hōkūleʻa Update | February 17, 2017: Lehua’s Evening Update
It was a beautiful day for the Leg 28 crew, with consistent tradewinds, swells and clear skies. Now on their eighth day since leaving the Galapagos Islands for Rapa Nui, Lehua estimates theyʻve covered about 65 miles in the past 12 hours.
