Newport, California.  

We experienced a remarkable day conducting public tours for the Newport Beach community. The local heritage of sailing and canoe paddling enriched our interactions, allowing us to exchange our mutual passion for the sea in a very intimate manner. Our crew had the pleasure of dining at the Balboa Yacht Club, where we enjoyed tasty cuisine accompanied by the soothing sounds of a Hawaiian slack key guitarist. The afternoon was filled with more public canoe tours, during which we continued to spread the message of the Moananuiākea voyage. We emphasized the importance of responsible ocean stewardship and its significant impact on communities throughout the Pacific.
